Power Grid Resilience to Extreme Weather Conditions

Provider(s):
WSU

Description:
The project will involve modeling the impacts of extreme weather events (such as hurricanes, heat waves, etc.) on the power grid and system outages. The goal is to quantify the effects of extreme weather conditions on electric power availability. This study will help us understand how resilient our power grid infrastructures are to extreme weather events.
